NJ Restaurant Employees Injured in Fatal Crash
A notice on Ling Ling Riverwalk restaurant website states, “Words cannot express our grief for those we have lost far too soon.” The restaurant was closed for several days after a tragic accident that killed several staff members.
The car accident in question was a fatal collision between a cattle truck, a small car, and a mini-van that happened along Route 287. A truck hauling cattle had pulled over for repairs when a chain reaction collision occurred, leaving three people dead. Among the dead were two employees of the Ling Ling Riverwalk Chinese restaurant. Another 12 injured people were taken to the hospital with injuries.
The crash remains under investigation. But, police believe the accident started when a Hyundai Elantra ran into the back of a parked trailer truck. Shortly after, another minivan collided with the automobile, slamming all three vehicles into the side of the road.
