New Jersey Cyclist Left For Dead in Suspected Hit And Run

By Lependorf & Silverstein on November 14, 2015

Motorcycle AccidentA man heading home from work on his bike is the latest hit and run accident to impact the region. As reported by NJ.com, authorities were called to Route 513 – otherwise known as Green Pond Road, or Hibernia Avenue – near the Route 80 off-ramp in Rockaway Township. The man was apparently riding home from work when he was struck by what witnesses describe as a dump truck. The collision is currently being investigated by Morris County police.

After the accident, the man was transported to St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover.

Unfortunately, with these types of accidents it’s often difficult, if not impossible, to track down the guilty driver. But, victims of hit and run accident and their families still have legal options.
